Newport Beach Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Murder After Leading Police On Chase (patch.com) — Newport Beach residents are learning that a 22-year-old man from their city was arrested on suspicion of murder after a knife assault in Stanton led to a police pursuit and crash in Anaheim. Deputies used license plate reader data to locate the suspect's vehicle, and the victim, a 45-year-old man, later died at a hospital, though his cause of death has not yet been released.
