SigAlert: Pedestrian Killed In Hit-And-Run On 118 Freeway
The fatal crash happened on the westbound side of the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway just west of the Golden State (5) Freeway.
MISSION HILLS, CA — A pedestrian was struck and killed near dawn Friday in a hit-and-run crash on the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway in Mission Hills.
The crash was reported at 6:06 a.m. on the westbound side of the 118 just west of the Golden State (5) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
There was no word on the age or gender of the pedestrian or why they were on the freeway and a description of the vehicle involved was not immediately available.

A Sigalert was issued at 6:40 a.m. for the closure of the far left lane.
Traffic was backed up to San Fernando Road on the 118 and also on the 5 Freeway connector heading west on the Reagan Freeway.
