• Seismic activity on Sept. 21: Earthquake close to Pacifica, CA recorded (sacbee.com) — A small 2.3 magnitude earthquake struck about a mile southeast of Pacifica on Monday evening, shaking the area but causing no reported damage. Residents are encouraged to file USGS felt reports and review basic earthquake safety steps like drop, cover, and hold on to prepare for future tremors.
