MECCA, CA — A fire broke out Tuesday involving three abandoned nursery greenhouses and debris piles in Mecca.

The non-injury blaze was reported at 8:22 a.m. Tuesday at Avenue 64 and Hayes Street, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

Crews stopped the blaze, and were expected to remain at the scene for an additional two hours for overhaul, officials said.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
