• Fall 'Mini MBA' Being Offered At Palm Desert Entrepreneurial Resource Center (patch.com) — Palm Desert entrepreneurs can sign up for a free 10-week Mini MBA focused on AI and cybersecurity, hosted at the Palm Desert Entrepreneurial Resource Center starting Sept. 18. Offered by Cal State San Bernardino's Randall W. Lewis School, the Friday sessions cover business fundamentals, technology integration, and growth strategies, giving local small business owners practical tools to compete in a rapidly changing market. 
• Palm Desert City Council to Consider New Contractor for Library Design Project (nbcpalmsprings.com) — Palm Desert's City Council will vote Thursday on hiring Barnhart Reese Construction to redesign the long‑planned new library at the Civic Center campus after earlier plans exceeded the $30 million budget. The proposed $2 million redesign phase would rework existing plans without yet approving construction, with a later vote needed before building can move forward.
• Join Malachi Barton, Liamani Segura and more at a 'Worlds Collide Tour' rehearsal (abc7.com) — The Worlds Collide Concert Tour will kick off Sept. 25 at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, bringing stars from Disney's Descendants, ZOMBIES, and Camp Rock franchises. Families can dress as favorite characters, sing along to hit songs, and see a new, more rock‑influenced show before the tour heads to dozens of cities worldwide.
