Coachella Valley Jewish Communities Observe Yom Kippur (nbcpalmsprings.com) — Palm Desert residents joined other Coachella Valley Jewish communities to observe Yom Kippur with services at Sun City Jewish Services focused on prayer, reflection, and forgiveness. Speakers emphasized personally seeking forgiveness from those wronged over the past year as the 25-hour fast and worship period concluded Sunday evening.
