Palm Springs restaurant Alice B. announces closure (kesq.com) — A beloved Palm Springs restaurant, Alice B., will not reopen this fall after a three-year run, despite recently earning recognition in the 2026 Michelin Guide. Chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken say they'll continue serving the Coachella Valley through Alice B. and Border Grill Catering, including private events and planned Thanksgiving dinners for pickup.

Planning Commission to weigh golf course-to-housing rezoning, with strings attached ⋆ The Palm Springs Post (thepalmspringspost.com) — Palm Springs' Planning Commission will soon decide whether to rezone the closed Tommy Jacobs Bel Air Greens golf course for low-density housing, the first test of the city's Golf Course Conversion Ordinance. The 35-acre tribal-owned site could support around 70 homes, but staff recommend tying any land-use change to a future detailed development plan that meets strict open-space and buffer requirements.

The Hollywood Times Joins Sunset Music as Media Partner for a Powerful Weekend Celebrating Women in Music (hollywoodtimes.net) — Palm Springs will host a November weekend of concerts celebrating women in music, with Satin & Soul at Hotel Zoso on Saturday, Nov. 14, and The Changer & The Changed at Living Out Palm Springs on Sunday, Nov. 15.
