From there, you can head north toward Santa Rosa and Windsor or south through Marin to San Francisco, mixing buses, trains, ferries, bikes, and cars to build flexible regional trips.

SATURDAY FOOTBALL — Hoopa and Arcata lose on a tough day for HDN teams (humboldtsports.com) — High school football fans in Petaluma saw St. Vincent de Paul dominate visiting Arcata 47-0, improving the home team's record to 3-1. The shutout marked Arcata's third straight scoreless loss, while other Humboldt-Del Norte League teams had mixed results across California and even as far as Michigan this weekend.
