With adults 65 and older making up over a fifth of Petaluma's population, officers urge families and neighbors to help seniors verify payment requests, resist pressure for immediate action, and use police scam-prevention resources.

• Suspected Rohnert Park carjacker evades police, abandons car in Richmond (pressdemocrat.com) — A Petaluma resident was carjacked in a Rohnert Park Office Depot parking lot after a man demanded her vehicle and pushed her aside before fleeing. Police later found the car abandoned in Richmond and are still searching for the suspect, asking anyone with information to contact the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety.

Mistaken, wrong, just plain confused. Someone thought you were whom? I'll go first. I was in Denmark. Cat Stevens had a concert. A girl ran up to me… (Nextdoor Dunham) - We have a beautiful kitty with no collar who is staying close to our front door for a couple of hours now.
