Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department Hosting Fire Safety Expo
Families can enjoy a free pancake breakfast, interactive safety trainings, a fire truck, a fire dog, and more this weekend.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department is hosting a Fire Safety Expo. The expo, which will be held Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at the LPFD Training Tower on 3333 Busch Road in Pleasanton, will feature a mix of fire safety training and fun, kid-friendly events.
The expo will feature a free pancake breakfast, safety demonstrations and simulations, and an award to a local 8-year-old who reported a small fire at a birthday party, which ensured the fire was quickly put out.
- A free pancake breakfast hosted by the Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters Foundation featuring sausages, orange juice, and coffee (8 a.m.)
- Auto-extrication demonstration (9 a.m.)
- Award Recognition (9:30 a.m.)
- Rescue Operation Demonstration (10 a.m.)
- House Fire Simulation (11 a.m.)
Families can also enjoy a new Type 6 fire truck, fire extinguisher training, firefighter duck races, a meet and greet with Sparky the Fire Dog, a crime scene booth from the Pleasanton Police Department, and more.
