'Dedication, service and sacrifice': Pleasanton church recognizes first-responders (pleasantonweekly.com) — Lighthouse Baptist Church in Pleasanton recently hosted its annual First Responder Appreciation Sunday, honoring local police, firefighters and emergency personnel for their dedication and sacrifice. 5. An event destination: Visit Tri-Valley pushes bold vision to transform region – but not everybody is all-in on the $365M project (pleasantonweekly.com) — Pleasanton officials are weighing whether to support a proposed $364.5 million Tri-Valley event center in Dublin that could rely on new taxes and fees from Pleasanton businesses and property owners.
