• Ramona seventh-grader pursues his musical passion, wins several prestigious competitions (sandiegouniontribune.com) — A Ramona seventh-grader at Olive Peirce Middle School is gaining regional recognition for his trumpet skills, including winning a youth concerto competition and earning a solo with the Coronado Philharmonia Orchestra. Guided by his Ramona teacher mom and local school music programs, he now practices two hours daily, performs in elite youth ensembles, and invites supporters to hear him play live this October.
