• Survey launched to determine interest for green burials in Ramona (sandiegouniontribune.com) — Ramona residents are being asked whether Nuevo Memory Gardens, the town's public cemetery, should add a green or natural burial option, with an online survey open through Nov. 8. The Ramona Cemetery District is exploring the idea, but any change would still need approval from the state and San Diego County, and a specific section of the cemetery would be set aside if it moves forward.
