• Religious gatherings lineup in South Orange County for Sept. 20-26 (southoctimes.com) — Rancho Santa Margarita residents can join Adoration at San Francisco Solano on Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Confession there on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. The schedule also highlights additional Adoration and community dinner opportunities at nearby churches across South Orange County throughout the week. 
• Joseph Massey killed in head-on crash on 241 Toll Road (newsline.com) — A 39-year-old Rancho Santa Margarita resident, Joseph Kyle Massey, died in a wrong-way head-on collision on the 241 Toll Road near Lake Forest Drive, along with a woman from Irvine. A 7-year-old girl in their BMW was hospitalized. Officials are investigating possible causes such as impairment, road conditions, and visibility while legal experts discuss potential wrongful death claims.
