Smiley Library In Redlands To Offer Free Estate Planning Workshops

REDLANDS, CA — The A.K. Smiley Public Library will offer two free workshops on financial protection and estate planning Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the Contemporary Club, the city said.

Presented by the Bidaki Law Firm, "Financial Protection: Planning for Peace of Mind" will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. and again from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Participants may attend either session, the city announced on Tuesday.

The workshops are intended to help participants plan ahead to save their families time, money and stress. The program is a free educational community resource, the city said.

Topics will include long-term care planning, avoiding Medi-Cal recovery, maintaining control of health care and finances, passing assets tax-free and avoiding probate.
