• Impulse Space Raises Another $308M Amid Major Redondo Beach Expansion (patch.com) — Impulse Space is dramatically expanding its Redondo Beach footprint, moving into a 250,000-square-foot Manhattan Beach Boulevard facility and planning up to 200 new local hires. City officials have already issued building permits, cementing Redondo Beach's role as a growing aerospace hub and one of the company's largest employment centers. The latest $308 million investment boosts its Series D funding to $808 million.
   

• Redondo Moves Forward With Seaside Lagoon Overhaul (patch.com) — Redondo Beach is pushing ahead with a long-debated overhaul of Seaside Lagoon, sending its $10 million-plus rehabilitation plan to the California Coastal Commission instead of pausing for a competing wave-pool concept. The project would replace the aging saltwater system with a filtered recreational lagoon, addressing costly breakdowns and fines while reshaping a key waterfront attraction after nearly two decades of discussion.
