Police said the woman, Bella Chamberlain, argued with another woman at a nearby party before asking her boyfriend, Adreian Baca, to drive her to the apartment complex, according to police.

Police allege Chamberlain poured gasoline around the victim's front yard area and deliberately ignited it before she and Baca fled the scene.

Several hours later, investigators used Flock automated license plate reader cameras to find the suspects' vehicle. Police said the pair had run out of gas when officers found them.

Police arrested Chamberlain on suspicion of arson causing great bodily injury.

Baca was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy.
