Juvenile Arrested In BB Gun Shooting: Sonoma County

ROHNERT PARK-COTATI, CA — Police used a Flock surveillance camera to track three teens with a replica Glock-style BB gun after a shooting shattered a large glass window at a Rohnert Park business.

The shooting happened early Saturday afternoon, at a building on Hunter Drive. The person who reported the incident photographed the fleeing vehicle and its license plate.

Authorities searched the area and used the Flock Automated License Plate Recognition system to find the vehicle a short time later in a parking lot on Arlen Drive.

Officers stopped the vehicle and detained three teens. They also found the replica BB gun inside.

Authorities arrested one of the teens, who was taken to the Los Guilicos Juvenile Detention Center on suspicion of felony vandalism and displaying an imitation firearm in public.
