San Diego County Public Health Centers To Close Monday
All six public health centers and seven medical therapy units will close for a system upgrade.
SAN DIEGO, CA — All six San Diego County public health centers and seven medical therapy units will be closed Monday, Oct. 19, as the county transitions to a new electronic health records system.
All locations are expected to reopen Tuesday, Oct. 20, county officials said.
The upgrade will replace paper records with digital records, improve efficiency and reduce errors, according to the county. Staff members have been training for the transition since July.
