Prescribed Burn Planned Near Marin Preserve This Week
Smoke may be visible near the fire roads as crews conduct a controlled burn.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — A prescribed burn is scheduled near Gary Giacomini Preserve this week, with smoke potentially visible in the surrounding area, Marin County officials said.
The burn is set to begin Tuesday near East Sylvestris and Manzanita fire roads.
Officials advised residents that smoke may be visible during the operation and asked the public not to call 911 for updates.
