These incidents highlight ongoing fraud risks and neighborhood safety concerns that residents should be aware of right now. 
• San Andreas Fault Is Moving Faster, Storing More Stress Than Scientists Knew (techtimes.com) — New research centered at Sanborn County Park near Saratoga suggests the San Andreas Fault beneath the Santa Cruz Mountains has been slipping faster over thousands of years than previously believed, potentially raising long-term quake risk estimates for our area. Combined with new modeling of the southern fault, scientists say California is in a late stage of the earthquake cycle and stress preparedness, not panic.
