• Suspect Arrested in Scotts Valley Arson Investigation (tpgonlinedaily.com) — A man was arrested after allegedly admitting to setting several small vegetation fires on a hillside near Green Hills Road in Scotts Valley, where quick work by multiple fire agencies kept damage to about a quarter-acre. Local police and Cal Fire are withholding his name while the case moves to Santa Cruz County Superior Court, and officials are stressing fire danger in light of past major wildfires.
