• Details In Bankruptcy Of California's Oldest Family Winery: Report (patch.com) — Sonoma Valley's historic Gundlach Bundschu winery, California's oldest continuously family-owned winery, has entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy after a debt-financed Glen Ellen expansion and pandemic-era wine sales slump. The Bundschu family, now facing loss of majority control, hopes a new investor will keep the Sonoma Valley operation running while they retain a minority stake and wind down the Abbot's Passage facility.
   

• No damage reported after Sonoma Water sewer line leak near Fifth Street West and West Napa Street (sonomanews.com) — A sewer line leak near Fifth Street West and West Napa Street in Sonoma has been fully stopped, and officials report no damage to drinking water lines or nearby fish in Fryer Creek. City, fire, and county crews briefly closed part of Fifth Street West for cleanup, then flushed and vacuumed the storm drains to remove greasy debris and prevent future contamination.
