• A Place to Remember: New 9/11 Memorial Dedicated in Sonoma (sonomacity.org) — Sonoma residents now have a permanent 9/11 memorial outside Sonoma Valley Fire District Station 1 on Second Street West, featuring steel from the World Trade Center and a commemorative bell. Approved by the Sonoma City Council and funded by local volunteers and donors, the site offers a year-round place for reflection, remembrance, and sharing stories across generations.
