• Ygnacio Valley Library Prepares for Temporary Closure and Major Improvements (contracosta.news) — Ygnacio Valley Library in Walnut Creek will close September 9 through May 31, 2027 for major HVAC, roofing, electrical, and lighting upgrades funded by Measure X and county reserves. During the closure, holds shift to Walnut Creek Library on N. Broadway, and patrons must use other county branches for borrowing and returns.
