• CBI identifies new leads in sexual assault cases impacted by Yvonne Missy Woods (denver7.com) — Denver authorities have identified new DNA leads in 13 sexual assault cases tied to work once handled by a former state DNA analyst, and six of those now have potential suspects through CODIS. The CBI and Denver Police say all affected Denver cases remain active, though the fallout has created costly backlogs and delays in testing statewide.
   

• The State of Food Insecurity: 35% of Denverites reported skipping meals last year because of financial strain (denver7.com) — More than one in three Denver adults reported skipping meals last year because they couldn't afford enough food, according to a new City of Denver survey. The findings, gathered from over 3,000 residents, spurred the city's first Food Justice Summit, where community groups pressed officials for concrete support and long-term solutions to local food insecurity.
