• Governor Lamont Announces State Grants for 50 Projects To Restore and Improve Trails (ct.gov) — Avon is set to receive $505,000 in state trail funding for the Old Farms Road Connectivity Improvements Project, creating a multi-use trail link from Tillotson Road to Fisher Meadows. The grant is part of $10.5 million Governor Lamont and DEEP are distributing to 50 trail projects statewide to expand recreation, improve access, and boost local economies.
