Puerto Vallarta Slates Fundraiser To benefit Playhouse 44 In Avon On Aug. 6

AVON, CT — Supporters of Playhouse 44 can help raise money for the community performing arts group by dining at Puerto Vallarta in Avon on Thursday, Aug. 6.

The restaurant will host a fundraiser from 3:30 to 9:30 p.m., with both dine-in and takeout orders eligible to support the organization.

Playhouse 44 said proceeds from the event will help fund its programming, which has included free or low-cost plays, music and comedy revues, storytelling nights and concerts since the group launched in 2024.

Organizers encouraged residents to participate by eating at the restaurant instead of cooking at home, saying the fundraiser will help the nonprofit continue expanding its performing arts offerings for the community.
