1. 4-Year-Old Girl Struck, Critically Injured By Bridgeport Police Car, Department Says (patch.com) — Bridgeport residents are being asked for information after a 4-year-old girl was critically injured when a city police cruiser struck her on Hanover Street as it responded to a nearby emergency call. The child, who lives on the street where the crash occurred, remains in critical but stable condition at Bridgeport Hospital, where the police chief visited her and pledged a transparent, independent investigation.

5. Bridgeport, FBI officers seize narcotics from stash house (wfsb.com) — Bridgeport police, working with FBI agents, seized large quantities of fentanyl pills, cocaine, heroin, and marijuana from a suspected stash house on Ohio Avenue, preventing those drugs from reaching local streets. Additional warrants at a neighborhood market and two Shelton locations turned up no evidence, and officials say federal charges and arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
