1. Amazon Delivery Driver Slashed In Face During Attempted Robbery In Bridgeport: Police (patch.com) — Bridgeport residents are being urged to come forward with information after an Amazon delivery driver was slashed in the face during a suspected attempted robbery in the South End. Police say two suspects on motor scooters boxed in the 28-year-old driver on Park Terrace before one attacked him, sending him to St. Vincent's Medical Center with a serious but non-life-threatening wound.
   

2. Moped Operator Injured In Bridgeport Crash: Police (patch.com) — Bridgeport police are investigating a crash at Seaview and Crescent avenues that left a moped operator injured and taken to Bridgeport Hospital. The driver of the other vehicle stayed at the scene and is cooperating as authorities work to determine what happened at this busy city intersection.
   

3. LifeBridge Receives Grant To Expand Mental Health Services In Bridgeport Schools (patch.com) — Bridgeport students will see expanded mental health support in their own schools as LifeBridge Community Services uses a $150,000 Cigna Group Foundation grant to grow its Plus Program. Building on promising results at Warren Harding High School, the initiative will now reach Bassick and Central, offering on-site counseling, crisis support and coordinated services to help chronically absent and off-track students stay in school and graduate.
   

4. Bridgeport CT State Street Stabbing Incident Investigated (news-usa.today) — A violent stabbing on State Street in downtown Bridgeport drew a heavy police and emergency response and has neighbors on edge about safety in this busy commercial corridor. Investigators are gathering evidence and witness statements and are asking anyone with information or surveillance footage to contact Bridgeport police as they work to identify those involved and piece together what happened.
   

5. Ganim won't put Bridgeport police chief on leave despite escalating union pressure (ctpost.com) — Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim is refusing union demands to place Police Chief Roderick Porter on paid leave while an outside law firm investigates complaints about his leadership. Union leaders and the Bridgeport Guardians argue Porter should step aside during the probe and want federal authorities involved, while Porter insists he treats officers fairly and says backlash stems from lost privileges and tighter accountability.
