Connecticut towns are installing license plate reading cameras on school buses (ctpost.com) — Bridgeport is among several Connecticut communities installing AI-powered license plate cameras on school buses to catch drivers who illegally pass when red lights are flashing. The program, run by BusPatrol, has already produced thousands of violations in New Haven while raising privacy and data-sharing concerns that Bridgeport residents may soon confront as the technology spreads statewide.
   

5. CT State Middlesex Offers Accelerated Classes This Fall (patch.com) — Bridgeport residents considering community college this fall can enroll in accelerated CT State Middlesex courses and still take classes at CT State's Bridgeport campus through a single application.
