Volunteers In Canton Sought For Farmington River Trail Cleanup This Weekend
Canton seeks volunteers for the Saturday, April 25, Farmington River Trail cleanup, with a rain date set for April 26.
CANTON, CT — Local volunteers are being called to assist with a community cleanup along the Farmington River Trail in Canton on Saturday, April 25, from 9 to 11 a.m.
The effort is organized by the Farmington Valley Trails Council and BikeWalkCantonCT, two groups focused on maintaining and promoting the region’s trail systems.
Participants are asked to meet behind the Canton Public Works Garage at 50 River Road.

Organizers said the event is open to all and does not require advance registration, though volunteers are encouraged to confirm attendance by email or arrive the day of the cleanup.
