Clinton State Rep. Chris Aniskovich Receives Manufacturing Champion Award

State Rep. Chris Aniskovich, R-Clinton, was honored by CBIA as a Connecticut Manufacturing Champion.

CLINTON, CT — State Rep. Chris Aniskovich, R-Clinton, was honored Thursday as one of the inaugural Connecticut Manufacturing Champions by the Connecticut Business & Industry Association.

Aniskovich, who represents the 35th General Assembly District, is the ranking member of the General Assembly’s Commerce Committee. The award was presented during CBIA’s annual Made in Connecticut: 2026 Manufacturing Summit, according to the release.

The recognition cited Aniskovich’s advocacy for policies related to Connecticut’s manufacturing sector, reducing regulatory friction for employers and supporting economic growth, according to the release.

“It was a true honor to be at the Made in Connecticut Summit and to be recognized by CBIA as an inaugural Manufacturing Champion,” Aniskovich said in the release. “Connecticut’s manufacturers and employers do incredible work every day, creating good-paying jobs, driving cutting-edge innovation, and serving as the backbone of our state’s economy.”

Aniskovich said lawmakers should listen directly to employers who invest and build in Connecticut.

“I want to thank CBIA for this recognition and for its support of our business community,” Aniskovich said. “I look forward to continuing our work together to make Connecticut a better, more competitive place to do business and build a future.”

CBIA’s Made in Connecticut Manufacturing Summit brings together industry executives, policymakers and workforce leaders from across the state to address supply chain challenges, workforce development initiatives and legislative policies affecting the sector, according to the release.

Aniskovich represents Clinton, Killingworth and Westbrook.
