• St. John Paul II Center celebrates 42nd anniversary (bridgeportdiocese.org) — Residents, volunteers, and staff at the Saint John Paul II Center in Danbury recently gathered with Bishop Frank Caggiano to celebrate the facility's 42nd anniversary with a special Mass focused on choosing to love even difficult people. Longtime volunteers and residents shared how the Lincoln Avenue center has become like family, highlighting the diocese's ongoing pastoral support and the community's deep ties to the nursing and rehab home.
   

• Around Our Schools (bridgeportdiocese.org) — St. Gregory the Great School in Danbury is rolling out a new, hands-on science curriculum for fourth- and fifth-graders, led by a parent with a PhD in chemistry. • Man Injured In Possible Road Rage Knife Attack In Danbury: Police (patch.com) — A man was hospitalized in stable condition after a knife assault near Newtown Road and Old Newtown Road in Danbury, in what police say may have started as a road-rage incident. Detectives are still investigating, and anyone with information is urged to contact Danbury police or submit anonymous tips to help identify the suspect who fled the scene.
