Great Island Committee To Review Paving, Infrastructure Costs At Special Meeting
Here's what to expect at the upcoming Great Island Parking Design Committee meeting.

DARIEN, CT — Darien's Great Island Parking Design Committee is scheduled Thursday to review updated pricing for paving, infrastructure, grading, landscaping and other site improvements as planning continues for Great Island.
A special meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 13, at 4 p.m. and will be held virtually via Zoom. Public comment is listed on the agenda. Written comments may also be submitted before the meeting.
The committee is also expected to receive an update on 23A, the access road into Great Island, before hearing from landscape architecture firm Reed Hilderbrand on the project's schedule and costs.

The pricing discussion is scheduled to cover vehicular paving, pedestrian paving, site infrastructure, sitework and grading, planting and soils, and site amenities. Committee members are also expected to discuss next steps.
The committee may also approve its July 16 meeting minutes and consider proposed meeting dates through December.
