• State Challenged Over Strict IQ Cutoff For IDD Services (disabilityscoop.com) — A Darien resident is among four plaintiffs suing Connecticut's Department of Developmental Services over what they say is an overly strict IQ cutoff that blocks access to crucial disability supports. The case argues the policy violates state and federal constitutional protections and, if successful, could open the door to services for hundreds or even thousands of residents statewide.
