Tickets On Sale For Darien Chamber's 2nd Annual Oktoberfest Event

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Chamber of Commerce will hold its second annual Oktoberfest on Oct. 3, at The Gardener's Center, and presale tickets are available now.

The fall event will feature live music by local band Something Fried and Bavarian cuisine provided by Michael Joseph's.

German-style beers, specialty German wine tastings and festive cocktails curated by Sly Bandit and Sipstirs will also be available.

Traditional Oktoberfest games and prizes are planned, including a best-dressed competition and a stein-holding competition. Dirndls and lederhosen are encouraged.

The Chamber's annual silent auction will open for bidding Sept. 25. A selection of silent auction items will be previewed ahead of the event.

The event will be held rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable but transferable.

Attendees will receive wristbands at check-in providing access to food, drinks and entertainment.

Uber and ride-sharing services are strongly encouraged.

Proceeds from the event and silent auction will benefit Darien Chamber of Commerce programs that support local businesses.
