Closures Expected During Ellington Paving Work

ELLINGTON, CT — Milling and paving work is scheduled to begin later this month on several Ellington roads, town officials said.

The work is expected to take place from Monday, June 22, through Thursday, July 2, on Hayes Road, Hillsdale Road, Field Road and Egypt Road, according to a town announcement.

Partial road closures are expected while the work is underway.

The same roads were previously listed in an Ellington Public Works presentation as part of the town’s spring roadwork capital projects. The presentation described the work planned for those roads as “Full-Width Mill & Pave.”

Town officials said the schedule may change because of weather and resource availability.
