• Ellington Resident Wins Big On Lottery Ticket (patch.com) — An Ellington resident has claimed a $100,000 prize from the Connecticut Lottery, bringing a big win to the local community. The winning Ca$hword 2nd Edition ticket was bought at the Super Stop & Shop on Windsorville Road in nearby Vernon, and the prize was officially claimed on August 24.
