The company listed Hockanum Valley Community Council, Windsor Federal Bank, Savy & Sons, Aligned Elevator, Ray Page Plumbing, Freightliner of Hartford, Homestead Comfort, Precisely Pandas and Alpine Tree Co. among the participating organizations and businesses.
Local businesses bring tractors, construction equipment and dump trucks for families to explore, according to Skips. Children can see the equipment up close and sit in the driver's seat.
The annual event raises money for charity. Skips says event proceeds support Hockanum Valley Community Council in Vernon, whose services include a food pantry, transportation, case management, counseling and psychiatry.
