1. Polls Open For The State Election
When: Tuesday, Nov. 3, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Your regular polling place; Old Town Hall, 611 Old Post Road
What to know: Polls are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at regular polling locations, according to the town's voting page. Residents who became citizens, turned 18 or moved to Fairfield in the week before the election can register Monday, Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

When: Thursday, Nov. 5, 7 p.m.
