• 11 Connecticut Farmers Markets Where $15 Fills Your Tote With Local Produce (takingthekids.com) — One of the standout stops for your weekend shopping is the Farmington Farm Truck at Hein Farm on Meadow Road, where you'll find organic vegetables, flowers, eggs, and local goods on 22 historic acres. This statewide roundup of farmers markets shows how far $15 can stretch, but Farmington's permanent farmstand and pick-your-own flowers make it an especially easy, close-to-home choice.
