1. 'Art In The Park' Event Upcoming In Greenwich (patch.com) — Celebrate local creativity in Old Greenwich as Art in the Park returns to Binney Park on Sunday, Oct. 4, with a rain date of Oct. 11. Residents can browse works from about 50 artists in a wide range of media, and local creators still have time to register to show their work.
   

2. Greenwich Renews Commitment To 'Never Forget' At Moving 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony (patch.com) — Greenwich residents filled Cos Cob Park on Friday to honor the 32 locals lost on 9/11 and reflect on the attacks' 25th anniversary. With emotional speeches from local leaders and veterans, the ceremony emphasized unity, remembrance, and passing the story to younger Greenwich generations, followed by a solemn walk to lay flowers at the memorial towers.
   

3. New Colonial Fetching Over $14 Million In Greenwich (patch.com) — A newly built, high-end Colonial on Doubling Road in Greenwich has hit the market for $14,375,000, offering seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and over 10,000 square feet of living space. 4. Boys & Girls Club Kids Share Appreciation for First Responders on 25th Anniversary of Sept 11 Attacks (greenwichfreepress.com) — Children at the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich lined the Rebecca Breed Clubhouse driveway on Sept. 11 to cheer local police and firefighters in a moving car parade. Waving flags, holding handmade thank-you signs, and meeting new police dog Mason, they marked the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks by honoring the bravery and daily service of Greenwich first responders.
   

5. Archbishop of Canterbury to Make First U.S. Church Visit in Greenwich (greenwichsentinel.com) — Greenwich worshippers have a rare chance to hear the Archbishop of Canterbury preach in person at Christ Church Greenwich on Sunday, Sept. 27, with advance registration required due to limited space. The historic visit, also available via livestream, brings one of global Anglicanism's most influential leaders to East Putnam Avenue for an early-morning service with full procession and choirs.
