2026 Guilford Porchfest Event Upcoming: Details

GUILFORD, CT — The sweet sounds of music will soon fill the air as the annual Guilford Porchfest event returns on Oct. 3.

Spearheaded by Guilford resident Laurie Kenney, the event features performances by singers and musicians who live or work in Guilford, hosted by private residents and public organizations throughout the downtown area.

Kenney started the event in Guilford in 2024 as a way to bring residents together through music. Many communities throughout the country hold their own porchfest events each year.

This year's event will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine, and feature 60-plus performers on over 50 porches. All performances are located within a 10-minute stroll of the Green.

Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnics and meet friends or new neighbors.

Open containers of alcohol and drinking alcohol in public areas are not permitted.

The Guilford Porchfest info table will be located next to the info kiosk at 32 Church St.
