Woman, 19, Shot In Hartford Tuesday Night: Police
Hartford police found the victim after a ShotSpotter alert on Westland Street.
HARTFORD, CT — The Hartford Police Department is investigating the shooting involving a 19-year-old woman after officers were dispatched to Westland Street, authorities said.
Police responded to the area of 211 Westland St. following a ShotSpotter alert indicating possible gunfire.
While officers were on scene, a local hospital reported that a gunshot victim had arrived for treatment, police said.

The victim, identified only as a 19-year-old female, sustained what police described as a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The department’s Major Crimes and Crime Scene divisions have taken over the investigation, which remains active and ongoing.
