MANCHESTER, CT — A warrant accuses a 40-year-old Bristol man of stealing copper piping from a Buckland Hills big box store.

South Windsor police last Thursday arrested the man on a warrant for the January incident.

The man is accused of taking $336.92 worth of copper pipes from Lowe’s at 31 Buckland Hills Drive.

The man surrendered at police headquarters.

He was released on a $1,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on March 25, police said.
