• One-Way Traffic Planned On Haynes Street During Manchester Paving Work (patch.com) — Drivers in Manchester should prepare for one-way traffic on Haynes Street as daytime milling and paving work continues through the 28th, with traffic flowing from Main Street toward Alpine Street. A signed detour via Alpine and Russell streets, plus six flaggers at key crosswalks, will help manage delays and keep the busy work zone safer for local motorists.
   

• East Hartford high school football preview 2026 (thehour.com) — East Hartford High's football team, now led by veteran coach Ty Outlaw, will visit Manchester for a conference matchup on November 20 at 6 p.m. The Hornets are rebuilding after a tough 2–8 season, with a new defensive scheme and only three returning starters. Manchester fans can expect a young but high-powered spread offense led by quarterback Anthony Caravello.
