MANSFIELD, CT — A 19-year-old from Bristol is accused of delivering a knockout sucker punch to another patron at a restaurant in Mansfield.

State police recently released an arrest report on the Feb. 7 incident.

On March 5, the 19-year-old surrendered on a warrant that has charged him with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.

According to a warrant, a 20-year-old man came to the state police Troop C barracks to claim he was assaulted by the 19-year-old, who was identified by several accounts.

The 20-year-old said he and a female acquaintance were at Cousin Jimmy's Pizza and Bar on Feb. 9. According to a warrant, the 19-year-old came up from behind, tapped the victim on the shoulder and punched him in the face.
