MANSFIELD, CT — State police are on the lookout for a suspect in the theft of a sewing machine from a big box store in Mansfield.

The suspect is part of Feb. 14 shoplifting incidents at Michaels and TJ Maxx in Mansfield, state police said. They took place right before closing.

At 8:22 p.m. that day, state police said, a woman left the Michaels store with a sewing machine valued at $208.

At 9:25 p.m., she left TJ Maxx with pairs of jeans and other clothing, state police said.

Her antics were captured on surveillance systems and state police released the images Sunday.
