Man Sentenced For Murder Of 21-Year-Old In Meriden (patch.com) — Meriden residents are learning that 26-year-old Joseph Stokes has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for the 2019 shooting death of 21-year-old Aaron Ormsby on Foster Street. The case, led by Meriden police with help from several agencies, involved tracking Stokes to South Carolina, extraditing him back to Connecticut, and securing a jury conviction on murder and multiple firearm-related charges.
